Our flooring project at the Sabina Library is taking a bit longer than anticipated. We will need to be closed for business another day. So we will be closed Friday, August 19. We will reopen for business on Saturday, August 20. Work will continue next week, but we should be able to be open while that portion of the project is taking place.

Creative Writing Group

This fall the library is considering starting a creative writer's group that would be facilitated by published author Wayne Page. Wayne is a 1966 East Clinton graduate. He's an active member of Cincinnati's Legendary Writers and facilitator of an Osher Lifelong Learning Institute creative writing course at the University of Cincinnati.

Ideally, we are looking for a group of 8-10 people willing to commit to 8 creative writing sessions to get things started.

If you have an interest in being part of a writing group, please contact the library.

Our Summer Madness Book Tournament has ended. The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was selected by voters as the favorite children's book. Prediction brackets have been scanned to find we have a tie. Jackson Fryman and Maya Breckel will be receiving gift cards for having brackets that came the closest to predicting the winning book.
